To combat the issue of scale and the physicality of my work, I changed the surface with which I was working on. The un-stretched offcuts of canvas reacted well with the materials as paper did but it was possible to warp the canvas further without destroying it. With the addition of string and hanging it off the wall slightly, it became an object in itself; it was difficult to not think of the previous works as drawings or paintings but this piece for me seems to blur the line between 2D and 3D.
